Product Overview

The lawn mower gearbox is the core drive component of residential and commercial lawn maintenance equipment, responsible for transmitting motor power to the blade to drive high-speed rotation for grass cutting. Due to harsh operating conditions — outdoor exposure, high vibration, grass clippings and dust, and potential impacts with stones and other hard objects — the lawn mower gearbox must possess extremely high reliability, sealing integrity, and impact resistance. Weight and noise are also important design considerations as key components of handheld/push-type equipment.

Yubao Transmission Technology's lawn mower gearboxes feature aluminum die-cast housings (ADC12), weight 2.5–5kg, single or dual-stage reduction designs, with reduction ratios from 5:1 to 50:1 customizable. Gears are carburized, hardened, and ground to DIN Grades 6–7 accuracy with transmission efficiency ≥93%. The sealed design achieves IP54 protection, effectively blocking grass clippings, dust, and moisture. Products pass 500-hour continuous endurance testing with a 10-year design life, suitable for residential lawn mowers, commercial riding mowers, golf course maintenance equipment, and municipal landscaping trimmers.
